Our diamond patent story began in 1902 when Joseph Asscher created the original Asscher Cut. Since then, every generation of the Asscher family at Royal Aasscher has contributed to the growth of our family of patented cuts.
The Asscher Diamond Company chose Tolstraat 127, Amsterdam, to set up its factory with the building's massive windows that let in ample light being the main draw for its selection. Over 150 years later, this iconic castlesque monument remains the House of Royal Asscher.
